The United Nations Development Programme is seeking for qualified, talented, and result-oriented candidates to fill the following positions.




Job Title : Finance Analyst (ICS-8)
Contract Type : Fixed Term Appointment (FTA)
Requirements : Master Degree in Finance/Accounting & 2 years of experience


The Finance Analyst ensures effective and transparent utilization of financial resources and integrity of financial services. S/he analyzes and interprets the financial rules and regulations and provides solutions to a wide spectrum of complex financial issues. S/he ensures implementation of operational strategy; manages development and management projects’ budgets; and control Country Office accounts.



Job Title : Finance Assistant (ICS-5)
Contract Type : Temporary Appointment (TA), 6 months
Requirements : Certification in Finance/Accounting & 3 years of experience


The Finance Assistant provides financial services ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of works. S/he promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with UNDP rules and regulations. S/he provides accounting and administrative support to the Finance Unit; ensures proper Country Office cash management system; and ensure functioning of the optimal cost-recovery system.



Job Title : Senior National Economist (SB-4)
Contract Type : Service Contract, 1 year with possible extension
Requirements : Master Degree & 5 years of experience


The Senior National Economist assists UNDP Senior Management on macro-and micro-economic policy analysis and trends and relevant linkages to UNDP Programmes. S/he provides advice on economic and high priority development issues; manages and conducts top quality policy-based researches; and advocates, communicates and promotes UNDP strategy.



Job Title : National Economist (SB-4)
Contract Type : Service Contract, 1 year with possible extension
Requirements : Master Degree & 3 years of experience


The National Economist reviews the research project components, develop the research project resource profiles and timelines. S/he provides advices and support on economic and high priority development issues; conducts and facilitates high quality targeted policy-based research; and advocacy and promotion of development initiatives.
